If someone had told me a few years ago that I would one day build my own brand as a fashion designer, I probably wouldn't have believed them.

For a long time, I was on a completely different path.

I graduated as a dietitian, then worked in pharmacovigilance for several years. However, creativity has always been a part of my life, but it was pushed into the background for a long time.

The Covid period marked a turning point for me. That's when I started to rediscover my creative self, which I had never dared to take seriously before. First, I enrolled in drawing classes at Corvin Drawing School, followed by graphic design and textile preparatory courses. Initially, I was driven purely by curiosity: I wanted to find out if I could have a place in this field.

Curiosity slowly became a direction.

Fashion design ultimately gave me much more than a new profession: I found in it a language through which I can articulate thoughts, feelings, and values.

The path was not straightforward. The first course at KREA ultimately didn't start, so for a time I continued my studies at Modart's French Tailoring course – I completed the first semester already pregnant. After that, motherhood became the focus of my life, and then in the autumn of 2023, I was finally able to begin my studies at KREA's Fashion and Costume Design department, where I graduated in 2026.

I found my own language in fashion design.

In the end, fashion design gave me much more than just a new profession. I found a language within it through which I can express thoughts, feelings, and values.

It was during the design of my diploma collection that it became truly clear to me what kind of designer I wanted to be. For months, I searched for the message I wanted to convey through my clothes.

This process of self-discovery shaped me as much as it shaped the collection itself.

The history of Solinae

It all started with a tiny idea.

Solinae originally began as a small accessory brand.

Cosmetic bags and hair ties were the first step towards creating something truly my own. Back then, I didn't know where this path would lead; I just felt a desire to create.

At one point, it became clear that Solinae could mean more.

While working on my graduation collection, a new direction gradually emerged for me. I realized that I didn't just want to design objects, but clothes that create a genuine connection with their wearers.

Solinae is now a contemporary womenswear brand inspired by the understated beauty of Japanese Shibui aesthetics, the clean lines of architecture, and timeless design.

I believe that femininity does not have to be loud to exude strength. Nor do I believe that someone has to give up their femininity to be seen as credible, confident, or successful.

Solinae is for women who do not seek attention, yet leave a lasting impression.

The foundation of every collection is thoughtful design, quality materials, clean forms, and timelessness. I want to create clothes that are not just for one season, but can become a natural part of everyday life for years to come.

For me, Solinae is not just a brand, but a constantly evolving story that develops with me.
